Also, this issue does not occur on C-steps of chipset revision. B-steps is no problem. - Display sometimes blinks during launching the Windows OS. Ver.6.14.10.4363(Rotation) Fixed issues - When "Intel(R) Display Power Saving Technology" is enabled, flicker screen sometimes appears on display in battery mode. Additional function - The design of "Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile properties" is changed. Ver.6.14.10.4267(Rotation) - First Version 2.Known Issues or Limitations (Expected Behavior) - Please install directX9 or more version before installing this driver. - DPST(Display Power Saving Technology) is supported in 915GM/915GMS. 910GML doesn't support DPST. - The display resolution might not be able to set larger than actual resolution of the LCD (XGA -1024x768, WXGA -1280x768, WXGA+ -1400x900, SXGA+ -1400x1050) after install the driver. In that case, please take the following steps to use panning feature. 1. Right click on an empty spot on the desktop. 2. In the popup menu, click on "Properties" to open "Display Properties" window. 3. Click "Settings" tab and click "Advanced" button. 4. Click "Monitor" tab. 5. Uncheck "Hide modes that this monitor can not display". - Can not change the display devices with Fn+F10 key in "Command Prompt" full screen. - "Command Prompt" full screen is displayed only on primary monitor in Simultaneous mode and dual monitor mode. - Can not change the display devices with Fn+F10 key in dual monitor mode. - The function "Use this device as the primary monitor" on "settings" tab of "Display Properties" is unavailable. You can set the primary and secondary monitor with "Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS 910GML Express Chipset Family properties". - Display devices might not be able to change when playing a movie. Close the movie player application before changing the display devices. - The visualization feature-"Plenoptic" in "Windows Media Player" cannot be displayed in full screen mode. - When 3Dscreen saver is running, "Power Options" feature sometimes does not work properly. In that case, please set the screen saver except the 3Dscreen saver. - Background image sometimes disappears after standby and hibernate and turn off monitor. If it occurs, please execute to refresh the desktop as following steps. 1. Right click on an empty spot on the desktop. 2. In the popup menu, click on "Refresh". - Video memory is allocated as needed to balance memory usage among the operating system by Intel Intel Dynamic Video Memory Technology(DVMT). (Video memory is shared with system memory.) Dynamic Video Memory Technology (DVMT) dynamically responds to application requirement and efficiently allocates the proper amount of memory (max. 64MB) for optimal graphics and system performance. The memory size available to the Operating System will be less than the size of installed memory module. 'Maximum video memory size is 128MB when the system memory size is 128MB or more.' 'In the system memory is under 128MB, maximum video memory size is 64MB. - "AGP texture acceleration" gray out in DirectX Diagnostic Tool, but this feature is working normally. And also, cannot set to "Disable". - Hardware acceleration-"HAL" of Direct3D is not supported in 8bit color. HAL is supported in 16bit and 32bit color. - In this driver is installed, the "Microsoft IME" might not be able to be uninstalled. In that case, please take the following steps to uninstall the "Microsoft IME". 1. Right click on a taskbar. 2. In the popup menu, click the "Task Manager". 3. Click "Processes" tab in "Task Manager" window. 4. Choose the "hkcmd.exe" and click "End Process" button in processes list. 5. Click "Yes" in "Task Manager Warning" window. 6. Please uninstall the "Microsoft IME" with normal operation. - Can not set the resolution of external monitor into higher than monitor supported resolution in dual monitor mode. - Can not change the display device with Fn+10 key when another accounts are logging on with "Switch User" feature. - When playing a DVD title. Black horizontal line noise appears on DVI monitor depending on the kind of the movie player application. - After OS start, panel fitting setting (compensation) is not valid which was set with Fn+F5 key. In this case, please set again with Fn+F5 key or change the panel fitting setting in "Intel(R) Extreme Graphics Properties". - Plug and play monitor may be detected at resume from suspend or from save to disk. - Close all applications before using rotation feature. - Any application and screen saver might not work normally or drawing speed is slow when using rotation feature. - Error message might appear when running a 3D screen saver at the same time as using rotation feature in dual monitor mode. - Rotation feature is disabled while starting/truning-off the Windows. - Do not change the Hardware Accelerator settings while using rotation feature. - Resolution and color settings in display properties are not correct when resolution is set to lower than 640x480/Windows2000 800x600/WomdowsXP&TabletPC while using rotation. - The rotation feature might not be able to use in Windows XP and Windows 2000 after install driver. In that case, please take the following steps to use rotation feature. 1. Right click on an empty spot on the desktop. 2. In the popup menu, click on "Properties" to open "Display Properties" window. 3. Click "Settings" tab and click "Advanced" button. 4. Click "Monitor" tab. 5.
